Synapses & Society invites students and early career researchers to submit abstracts for presentation at the inaugural conference. The conference brings together interdisciplinary perspectives on brain science, wellbeing, and human experience, highlighting research that connects biological understanding with broader social and cultural contexts. Submissions are encouraged from neuroscience, psychology, health sciences, social sciences, and related fields.
Abstracts should be submitted under one of the following conference tracks.
Track 1: Brain and Cognition
Neuroscience and cognitive science research examining perception, memory, emotion, and neural processing.
Track 2: Wellbeing, Health and Human Flourishing
Research exploring resilience, emotional regulation, stress, health behaviors, and holistic wellbeing.
Track 3: Human Experience and Society
Research examining lived experience, identity, disability, culture, education, and societal influences on wellbeing.
