Welcome to the inaugural Synapses & Society! This conference’s purpose is to explore how the inner workings of the brain intersect with the environments, cultures, and experiences that shape human life.

Through interdisciplinary dialogue and research presentations, the conference brings together scholars and students to examine cognition, wellbeing, and the broader contexts in which people think, learn, and live.
